Rumour: Is a new Predator movie in production?
Facebook image teases Comic-Con announcement
It’s been some three years since the last installment in the Predator series hit our screens, but a new image released on the Predators Facebook page suggests that another episode could be in the pipeline.
The new image is an infra-red aerial shot of what appears to be an inner-city area. According to Comic Book Movie , it’s actually a shot of Petco Park, which is situated within spitting distance of the San Diego Convention Centre.
That’s where this year’s Comic-Con will be based, suggesting that there will be a Predator -based announcement at some point during this year’s fest.
“There’s something out there waiting for us, and it ain’t no man…we’re all gonna die,” reads the accompanying text, which should be a familiar quote to fans of the original movie.
With the last film trebling its $40 million budget with a global take of more than $120 million, another sequel would seem a logical move for Fox, who will be presenting at the convention on Saturday 20 July 2013. Watch this space…
