Rumour: Michael B. Jordan set for Batman vs. Superman?
Reports claim he has met with Zack Snyder over potential role
Michael B. Jordan may be about to join the Marvel universe with The Fantastic Four , but he could also be dipping a toe into DC waters, with reports claiming he has spoken to Zack Snyder about a role in Batman vs. Superman .
Intriguingly, Latino Review claims that the actor has been earmarked for a recurring role that will come to greater prominence in further DC movies down the track.
We’ve nothing else to go on in terms of who the character in question might be, but it certainly seems as though Batman vs. Superman may be the launch pad from which DC begins to expand its universe.
As to the Jordan connection, we’d suggest that his Marvel commitments would make any such casting problematic in the extreme, but it’s still an interesting signpost to what the studio might be planning next.
Directed by Snyder and co-starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons, Batman vs. Superman will open in the UK on 6 May 2016.
