Ryan Gosling & Steve Carell team up in Crazy, Stupid, Love trailer
Emma Stone and Julianne Moore also star in the dramedy
Ryan Gosling appears to be taking a break from the quite-so-heavy stuff in the trailer for his latest, Crazy, Stupid, Love .
After the punishing likes of Half Nelson and Blue Valentine , it makes a fun change to see Gosling dabbling with slightly lighter material, although this looks like it'll still come with a substantial dose of angst.
Crazy, Stupid, Love stars Steve Carell as a middle-aged guy whose life suddenly falls apart when his wife (Julianne Moore) leaves him.
Cue Gosling's arrival as a slick ladies' man who shows Carell the joys of 'playing', before he finds himself falling for Emma Stone's young temptress.
There's a promising mix of smart gags and emotional moments, so we could be onto a winner here. There's also a disconcerting amount of Gosling's buff bod...
Have a look for yourself right now:
Crazy, Stupid, Love hits cinemas 2 September 2011.
