Ryan Reynolds announces Deadpool 2’s Domino casting using, uhh, dominos and Photoshop
There’s a million-and-one different reasons to follow Ryan Reynolds on Twitter but the most important one right now is that he’s used it to announce the casting of Domino for Deadpool 2 using, well, dominos. He’s nothing if not original…

Reynolds took to social media to reveal Zazie Beetz as Domino, with her surname spelled out in dominos, naturally. If that wasn’t enough, the Deadpool actor, with all the subtlety of a sledgehammer, put her face onto Domino’s just in case we didn’t understand the cryptic domino tweet.

Atlanta’s Zazie Beetz will be playing the mercenary Domino alongside Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool, the as yet uncast Cable and the returning trio of Colossus, Negasonic and Dopinder.
Domino and Deadpool’s histories are uniquely intertwined, having debuted in the same comic (New Mutants #98) way back in 1991. Most origin stories place her as having survived a test to create the perfect soldier – which is exactly what Wade Wilson had to go through in the first movie. She also becomes Cable’s lover so if you’ve always wondered how Deadpool would act as a third wheel then you’re probably in luck.
Directed by David Leitch and starring Ryan Reynolds, Stefan Kapicic, Zazie Beetz and Brianna Hidelbrand, Deadpool 2 hits theaters March 2, 2018
