That's not Luke's ship dropping Rey off in Star Wars The Force Awakens
One of LucasFilm's top story guys seems to have shot down the rumour that Luke could be Rey's father in Star Wars The Force Awakens. Or at least the chance that was him dropping her off on Jakku, as seen in her Force vision after touching Luke's lightsaber for the first time.
The idea picked up some weight online when people decided the ship as it appears in Rey's vision was a dead ringer for the shuttle Luke used in the comics. So, film:

However, Pablo Hidalgo, Lucasfilm story group's creative executive says otherwise with this tweet:

That's definitely not Luke's shuttle then. While that doesn't really mean Luke can't have used another ship, or got someone else to do the school run, the message from Hidalgo does seems to be 'not Luke.'
