Sam Claflin will return for The Huntsman
There might not be any sign of Snow White in fairytale prequel The Huntsman, but that doesn't mean the film will be short of familiar faces, with Sam Claflin set to reprise his role as the dashing prince, William.
The Wrap reports that Claflin will play a minor supporting role in the new film, although it is currently unclear just how he will fit into the storyline. The plot will follow the Huntsman (Chris Hemsworth) and Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) long before the arrival of Snow White in their lives, with the former going in search of a magic mirror. That quest leads him directly into conflict with Emily Blunt's Snow Queen, who just happens to be Ravenna's sister.
Nick Frost will also return in his capacity as a dwarf, and will be joined by series newcomers Sheridan Smith, Rob Brydon and Alexandra Roach. Jessica Chastain is also on board, although the identity of her character has yet to be revealed. Directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, The Huntsman will open on 22 April 2016.
