Sam Raimi and Fede Alvarez reuniting for new thriller
Evil Dead team getting back together
As it’s Halloween, some sort-of-horror news to bring you this morning in the form of a prospective re-team between Evil Dead collaborators Sam Raimi, Fede Alvarez and Rob Tapert.
However, the trio aren’t cooking up an Evil Dead sequel, or even a horror film of any variety, but rather a new thriller entitled A Man In The Dark .
According to Collider , the film will follow a trio of teenagers who specialise in meticulously-planned home robberies, as they eye the final score that should set them up for some time to come…
Having targeted a reclusive blind man with millions of dollars stashed away, it seems like the perfect plan… except for the fact that said blind man is a fully paid-up psychopath, with more than a few tricks up his sleeve…
Alvarez is set to occupy the director’s chair on the film, with Raimi and Tapert supporting on producing duties. An official release date has yet to be confirmed.
