Samuel L. Jackson and Luke Wilson are Meeting Evil
They've signed on for darkly-comedic thriller
Samuel L. Jackson, Luke Wilson and Leslie Bibb will star in noir thriller Meeting Evil .
Scene Magazine are reporting that the actors have signed on to appear in the adaptation of Thomas Berger's 1992 novel.
Wilson is playing a depressed real estate salesman, struggling through the economic collapse. He ends up encountering Jackson's mysterious criminal, Richie, who takes him on a crazy, violent, 24-hour crime spree.
Leslie Bibb (reporter Christine Everhart in the Iron Man movies) will play Wilson's presumably-worried wife.
The tone is described as "moody with elements of dark comedy", which will be a change of pace for the usually laidback Wilson, and it'll also be interesting for Jackson to appear in a grittier thriller amidst his Marvel commitments.
Meeting Evil is set to shoot in New Orleans this month, under the stewardship of director Chris Fisher (the man behind the dreadful S. Darko ).
Jackson'll next be seen as Nick Fury in Captain America and The Avengers .
