Sandra Bullock goes for Kiss And Tango
She's hot to trot with a new book adaptation
Tango might not exactly be the hottest Hollywood trend – though Antonio Banderas recently tried to give it a kick up the credibility arse with school dance drama Take The Lead – but that isn’t stopping Sandra Bullock slipping on her producer’s hat and snapping up the rights to Marina Palmer’s memoir Kiss & Tango.
Not, as you might suspect, a slushy sequel to Tango And Cash, Kiss focuses instead on Palmer’s life-swap as a New York advertising exec who heads to Buenos Aires, finds love and learns that all she really needs to be happy is a different culture and some hot ‘n’ heavy dance moves.
Bullock is considering starring in the film, which she’s now set up at Fox 2000. And Palmer certainly seems to approve. "I'm thrilled with this deal," Palmer told The Hollywood Reporter . "I think this is a great fit for Sandra Bullock and my book."
