Sarah Connor Chronicles are on
With a director in place, everything is set for the Terminator spin-off
Warner Bros TV and Fox Broadcasting are finally in a place to crack on with the eagerly anticipated Terminator TV spin-off, The Sarah Connor Chronicles.
In the chair to helm the pilot is seasoned TV lenser David Nutter, who has worked on a pile of top shows, from 21 Jump Street to The West Wing and The Sopranos.
The show will follow the trail of Sarah Connor from where T2: Judgement Day left off, with the battle-weary mum on the run.
Fox committed to shoot a pilot last year and will work alongside producers of the big screen robo-war flicks, Andrew Vajna and Mario Kassar for C2 Pictures. With a shoot planned for early next year, casting is set to kick off straight away.
