Then Sony goes and does something silly like giving the film an official release date and you realise you’re going to have deal with the harsh reality: a remake of Total Recall is being made and it will be unleashed on 3 August 2012. Underworld ’s Len Wiseman will be directing. Brave man.
James Franco Plans A Trip To Oz
Deadline is reporting that Disney is close to signing James Franco ( 127 Hours ) to play the lead role in Sam Raimi’s Oz, The Great And Powerful . The prequel’s story will be about how a snake-oil salesman travels to the land of Oz in a hot air balloon and encounters a group of sister witches. Mila Kunis is apparently in talks to play the Wicked Witch of the West. The film is due for a 2013 release.
