Hello there. First up this week we have a selection of adventures featuring everybody’s favourite Time Lord. Doctor Who series six is available on DVD from Amazon for £16.25 . The same set can also be found on Blu-ray for £19.75 .
Moving over to classic Who we have the Hartnell era adventure “Planet Of The Giants” on DVD for £10.25 .
We also found Tom Baker adventure “Face Of Evil” on DVD for £7.75 and a load of other Tom Baker era stories on DVD for just £6 each including ”The Deadly Assassin” , ”The Image Of Fendahl” , ”Planet Of Evil” , ”The Hand Of Fear” and ”The Horror Of Fang Rock” . Fans of Sylvester McCoy can pick up ”Delta And The Bannerman” on DVD for just £6 too.
If you like the adventure of the young Superman you can grab Smallville season eight on Blu-ray for £11.50 and season nine, again on Blu-ray for the same price. And for anyone who wants to go right back to the start you can also pick up Smallville season one on DVD for £7.75 .
On the HMV website they still have the 5 Blu-rays for £30 offer running. We spotted Armageddon, Minority Report and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind amongst others. Check it out.
Fans of cute tiny beasts with huge mouths can pick up the Critters four-film DVD box-set for just £5.99 . That’s like £1.50 a film or something if you use maths.

If a twist in the tale is your thing you could always grab this M Night Shyamalan movie box-set which features Signs, Unbreakable and The Sixth Sense . It’s available on Blu-ray and the price is £18.99 .
In the world of sci-fi TV we found the short-lived ‘90s UFO conspiracy series Dark Skies from Play for £13.99 on DVD . Watch the skies!
Elsewhere in TV land we found the criminally cancelled The Fades on DVD for £6.25 , for anyone who wants to catch up on the story so far for the orange clad community service potty mouths, there’s a three series box-set of Misfits available on DVD for £22 . Back over on Play we found the excellent Space: Above And Beyond the complete collectors edition on DVD for £13.99.
There weren’t many bargains finds from the forum this week so we’ll skip straight to the supermarkets. In Morrison’s we spotted I Am Legend, Tron, The Thing, District 9, The Lake House and Wanted on DVD for £3 each. JJ Abrams’ Star Trek reboot and Battle: Los Angeles were £5 each on DVD. We also saw Men in Black on Blu-ray for £7 , and Wolverine on the same format for £5 .
Over at Asda it was same as last week minus all the horror films. We found Resident Evil: Damnation on DVD for £11 , Starship Troopers: Invasion for £7 , Wrath Of The Titans was on DVD for £10 and on Blu-ray for £15 and they still had the Wrath/Clash of the Titans double DVD set for £15.97 . The Johnny Deep starring Dark Shadows was £10 on DVD and £15 on Blu-ray.
There was a range of DVDs for £5 each. We saw titles including Wolverine, Let Me In, Skyline and Super 8 . We also found Lockout for £7 .
Over in the Blu-ray aisle we found Source Code, Scream 4 and Troll Hunter for £7 each and Contagion, Darkest Hour and [REC] Genesis for £10 each.
The random suggestions this week kick of with something for the fans of retro gaming characters; someone out there might like this Pac-Man heat changing mug . It can be yours for £3.99 , or how about these Pac-Man/Ghost post-it notes , perfect for office based shenanigans and cheap at just £2.79 a set.
Fans of The Big Bang Theory might fancy a T-shirt. We found this men’s Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock T-shirt which can be yours for just £9.99 . And for the ladies we spotted this Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty shirt for £11.99 .
Finally for this week we have this Star Wars origami book available for £12.99 . The book contains 36 amazing paper folding ideas.
