Sean Harris to play the villain in Mission: Impossible 5?
Paramount in negotiations with British actor
Mission: Impossible 5 might just have found itself a villain, with British actor Sean Harris thought to be in discussions to play the film's chief antagonist.
According to Deadline , Harris has been offered the role by the studio, although the deal has not yet been completed, with negotiations ongoing.
Should he sign on the dotted line, Harris will line up alongside fellow newcomer, Alec Baldwin, as well as series regulars Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Ving Rhames.
Jeremy Renner is also set to return, with Paramount hoping this latest outing proves as popular as the last instalment, which took a whopping $695 million worldwide, the most Cruise has ever accrued as leading man.
Directed by Chris McQuarrie from a screenplay by Drew Pearce, Mission: Impossible 5 will open in the UK on 26 December 2015.
