Second trailer lands for Fantastic Four
The second trailer for Fantastic Four has debuted online, with Kate Mara, Miles Teller, Jamie Bell and Michael B. Jordan struggling to come to terms with the physical effects of an abortive scientific experiment.
Both cast and crew have been at pains to flag up the serious tone of the new film, and this latest trailer does a good job of getting that across. Apart from a couple of one-liners, this one looks to be a drastically different beast from its Technicolor predecessor…

We still haven’t had that clear a glimpse of franchise villain Doom yet, although its good to see that his traditional comic-book look hasn’t been completely abandoned. He may be a computer hacker in this iteration, but at least he’s still rocking a cape…
Directed by Josh Trank and co-starring Toby Kebbell, Reg E. Cathey and Tim Blake Nelson, Fantastic Four will open in the UK on 6 August 2015 and the US the following day.
