Sex And The City 3 not steaming screens any time soon
Though Kristin Davis fancies it
Sex And The City 2 caused a minor uproar when it opened earlier this year, its trip to Abu Dhabi landing accusations of racism and cultural insensitivity.
Which could explain why nobody’s really talking about a third rampant big screen outing for the Manhattan quartet. Except Kristin Davis.
“There are no plans that I know of but I would love to do a third film,” confirms Davis, aka Charlotte (the brunette one) to The Mirror .
It’d take a small miracle to get the project off the ground, of course, seeing as the second film only made $95m domestically – not a patch on the first film’s mammoth $152m.
“We all want to do it,” the actress stresses. “I guess it's just figuring out whether it's the right thing to do and if we can move the characters forward anymore.”
Fans of the pissed-on TV series are probably clamouring for the ladies to hang up their garters and call it a day. But then, if SJP wants in, who are we to stop her?
