Sex And The City movie is at the scripting stage...
And creator Michael Patrick King is writing it
If you’re a Sex And The City fan, you’ll recognise the name Anthony Marantino; he is, after all, one of the best characters. If you’re not, then what are you doing reading this? Trying to impress your partner? Well, okay.
Charlotte’s gay friend, or at least the actor who plays him (Mario Cantone), has been discussing the forthcoming Sex And The City movie and it sounds like things are further along than previously thought.
“There's nothing definitive but I know the script is being written and I know it will be brilliant because Michael Patrick King is writing it,” Cantone said. “I know that I'm in it. I have a nice part in it, I'm told. If it happens, we should film it in the early fall I think, but I hope it stays on course because I would love to do it.”
King was always going to be involved - he was the executive producer of the HBO show after all - but the news that he’s writing the script as we speak is surely cause to celebrate with a new pair of shoes, a weird dress and some guilt-free sex.
