Own a computery device thing? You can download SFX , SFX Special Editions and Comic Heroes now. See below for links and bargains...
We just wanted to let you know that SFX , Comic Heroes and the SFX Special Editions are on pretty much everymajor digital platform: Newsstand for iPad, iPhone and iPod Touch , Zinio for PC, Mac and Android, Google Play for Android and probably Barnes %26 Noble Nook if that's your sort of thing.
Prices are the same across all digital providers, only the free trial periods are different. So whether you're brandishing an iPad or an Android phone, you can get SFX and the SFX Special Editions at a bargain price with a chance to try before you commit.
The Apple Newsstand version of SFX comes with extra photos in the form of feature slideshows, and video, including a filmed introduction from the editor-in-chief and trailers for the big films. You can also see a coverline-free variant of the cover. All digital versions come with handy hyperlinks throughout.
Buying the mag this way can cost as little as £2.49 per month (compared to £4.99 per issue in the shops) and the US prices are a bargain too. Keep your eyes open for regular offers. On most formats there's a 30-day free trial on subscriptions - 14 days on Nook - so you can see what it's like before you buy! And there's cool stuff too, like the ability to get a copy of 1995's issue one , a freebie for subscribers (or a cheap download if that's a one-off for you).

- Back issues: many that have completely sold out in print are available online
- Ease of navigation: the cover and contents pages leap directly to the stories you want
- Bonus content: the Apple Newsstand edition of SFX contains exclusive videos and photos slideshows
- Zoomable: if you think our font is too small, just pinch to embiggen
NB Obviously you don't get any physical gifts we might covermount - like posters - but we do try to include all freebie print content like comic samplers or book downloads. Let us know how you enjoy the digital formats !
