Documents
Famine
While being led down into the Hidden City, it’s on a shelf at the bottom of a flight of steps with the fire burning at the bottom. Or just return to it south-west of Skull Cave base camp.
Troubled Lands
On entering the building to start the hunt for the silver box, this document is in the first room, on the left. Alternatively, reapproach by heading south-west from the Temple District base camp.

To the left of the diving platform at the top of the cave in which the Temple Path base camp is located.

On the table next to the Unuratu’s Home base camp.

At the foot of the waterfall in the mid-eastern portion of the village, in a small cave with the Explorer’s Backpack.
Priests of the Sun
Immediately after the cut-scene where Unuratu is told she’s wasted her life looking in the wrong place for the silver box, this is on the floor to your left. Or if you’re coming to it later, head north from the Upper City Main Gate base camp and into the temple..
A King Sacrificed
In the main temple chamber, lying here on the floor.
Trinity Recruits Amaru
In the main temple room, lying on the floor at this location..
In Name Only
After talking to Unuratu in her cell and deciding to continue looking for the box, this is next to you when the cut-scene ends. Obviously it’s still there later if you missed it, so head back to the prison cell.
Crime and punishments
In the crypt outside the prison, in the room after the trip wire traps.
Reconnaissance
This is on the floor after you’ve slid down into the crypt by the prison, or after you have climbed back out. Same room, see?
Commander Rourke
No action needed - this is acquired when you regain control after the cutscene with the helicopter attacking Lara and Jonah.
El Dorado
In Paititi Village, this is up on the hill directly east of the two islands in the river.
Resist!
In Skull Cave near the base camp fire, on a table.
The First Emperor
Climb the white tree by the two islands and make your way up the cliffs towards the cave entrance. It’s to the left of said entrance.
The Cult’s Control
Inside the cave above Paititi’s Fishing District base camp. Climb the white tree and follow the cliff to get to the cave. It’s a little way inside, past the already-triggered trap and spike pit.
The Peasant Savior
Inside the cave above Paititi’s Fishing District base camp. Climb the white tree and follow the cliff to get to the cave. It’s a little way inside, past the second already-triggered trap.
Warriors of Kukulkan
Inside the challenge tomb, from the Ossuary base camp, head through the wall. Navigate the room and descend into the water. Climb out of the water by the wall and this is on the platform there.
The Prophecy
Inside the wall at the market in the hidden city. Go to this place on the map.
Yaaxil
Inside the wall at the market in the hidden city. Go to this place on the map.
Rebirth and resettlement
This is inside the building at this location.
Contract
This is in the room of the Temple Path base camp, and easy to find. Go here to find the base camp.
Disease and Death
Up the steps from the Temple Path base camp.
Devils in the Dark
Swim through the underwater tunnel from the Temple Path base camp and this is in the room on the other side.
The Monkey Twins
As you get inside the Challenge Tomb that you access from the wall you break by the Temple Path Base Camp. After the swinging, climbing and wall-running, it’s on the right as you enter the tomb proper.
Guidelines
This is inside the Temple of Kukulkan, at the rear left of the room.
No-one in, no-one out
This is inside the Temple of Kukulkan, at the rear of the room.
Conspiracy
This is inside the Temple of Kukulkan, at the rear-right of the room.

A Warning
In the underwater caves of Cenote, there’s a little tunnel leading to the north. Enter it and climb out to find a room with this warning.
Captain’s Note
On the Spanish Galleon, in the captain’s quarters. Complete the Challenge Tomb puzzle to get inside.
Trinity Arrives
South of the Belly of the Serpent base camp, it’s easy to find, on a small ledge.
Lopez’s Arrival
At the Abandoned Village, right in the south of the area there’s a barrier that needs the Rope Ascender to pass. This document is inside.
Covering the Tracks
Another Rope Ascender door in the Abandoned Village leads to this document. This one is to the west.
Epidemic
On the bamboo jetty north-east of the Village Caves base camp in Paititi, it’s there at the end.
Two Peoples As One
While you’re solving Sumaq’s murder in the sidequest in Paititi Village, you’ll find this in the hut once you go round the back way.
Warning
From the Wild Jungle base camp, head south along the water until you reach this point. There’s a climbable tree and once you get high enough in it, you can swing over to the cliffs. A little way along, you can pull yourself up and find this document.
More questions
Having climbed the tree by the water that’s south of the Wild Jungle base camp, and climbed along the cliff, you’ll find a crypt. Inside, after squeezing through the rocks, you’ll find this document.
