William Shatner will be lending his unique stilted delivery (Where. Every. Word. Is. Its. Own. Sentence.) to Bethesda's new Xbox 360 and PC sci-fi shooter Star Trek: Legacy, which is due to hit shelves this autumn.
The game spans the entire history of Star Trek from the early days of the Enterprise all the way through to the Next Generation and Voyager, which means Bethesda has also signed up four other Star Trek stars to voice their respective characters.
So, Patrick Stewart reprises his role as Captain Jean Luc-Picard, Avery Brooks will show up as Captain Benjamin Lafayette Sisko from Deep Space Nine, as will Kate Mulgrew as Voyager's Captain Kathryn Janeway and Scott Bakula as Enterprise's first captain Jonathan Archer.
The game manages to incorporate every ship from the Star Trek series, as the Federation is up against a new enemy that's able to travel back and forth through time, which is obviously going to cause problems.
