Sherlocks Lara Pulver joins Underworld 5
Underworld 5 has confirmed some cult casting news, with Sherlock actress Lara Pulver set to join the forthcoming sequel. The star, best known for playing Irene Adler in the small-screen smash, will appear opposite the returning Kate Beckinsale in an undisclosed role.
This latest piece of casting follows the recruitment of Merlin star Bradley James, who was recently confirmed to be playing the villain of the piece. Theo James is another new addition to the franchise, with the studio aiming to attract new fans to the series with a host of brand new faces.
Plot details remain scarce for the as-yet-untitled sequel, although it has been suggested that the Lycans will take centre stage this time around, A script has been penned by Cory Goodman, with Anna Foerster stepping behind the camera to direct. Cameras will begin rolling in Prague next month, with the film set to hit cinemas on October 21 2016.
