Silent Hill Origins on PS2 - official
Finally, Konami's head comes out of the sand
It's been heavily rumouredmore than once, and Konami has refused to be drawn on the matter, but the firm has finally coughed up word that Silent Hill Origins is PS2 bound.
The game was originally released on PSP last year, but if small screen horror doesn't phase you, get ready for the PS2 version.
"Console gamers can now expect the same chilling, suspenseful and fear-filled experience that handheld gamers encountered when we released Silent Hill Origins on PSP," said Anthony Crouts, VP of marketing for Konami.
"This is their chance to learn more of the mystery and mythos surrounding Silent Hill that's been hinted at in earlier games and made the series such a success."

A solid release date hasn't been given, but online retailers list the game for an early March launch.
