Silver PS3 makes us even more jealous of Japan

Sweetness! At least, that's what we would be saying if this "Satin Silver" PS3 was coming anywhere other than Japan. Sadly, instead of releasing the Satin Silver console here, Sony's leaving us with the same old piano black model we've always had. More like Satan, am I right?!

The system comes with the standard AV cable and USB cable, and it also includes a special Satin Silver DualShock 3 controller. Sony will also be releasing the new-color controllers separately for about 2,000 yen (~$30) each.

The Satin Silver PS3 goes on sales on March 10, in two capacities. The 160 GB unit will sell for 29,980 yen ($368) while the 320 GB version is priced at 34,980 yen ($429). It's being labeled a "limited release" console.

It's unlikely this version of Sony's slim console will make its way to the US, but that won't prevent the most diehard fans from importing it. But it's all good. Piano black is cool, too. Right?
