Skate's sweetest hidden trick spots
San Vanelona's 25 must-see skating destinations
Own… Bomb the Bank
South from Elementary school station in The Res is an overpass to the east. The steep road under it leads to this big bank transfer gap. Stay on the pavement to avoid having to ollie in your run up.
Own... No Man's Land
The Res plays host to this massive gap/grind, in the top east corner of the area, along the left side of the street when heading downhill. Aim for the grind and flip out to the next rail for big scores.
Own... Own the Hole
Almost opposite No Man's and in the top of The Res is this brilliant challenge - a chest-high hole in the wall, visible from the street as you pass. Extra kudos if you can trick through it.
Own... Car park
There's a fine bible spot in the Downtown car park, west of the Parkade, but push up the spiral ramps to the rooftop and you'll find a playground of board-dom, including hips, gaps, rails and transfers.
Own... Roof to Rough
This gap sees you leap from a high-rise car park to a rooftop. It's in Suburbs, on a south west street that's about level with the lower no-skate-zone. Take the car park ramp to get up.
