Skylanders Giants announced as Wii U launch title
Activision goes Giant
Activision revealed today during Nintendo's highly publicized Wii U press conference that they will be bringing Skylanders Giants to the platform at launch.
Activision also announced that the game will feature Wii U-specific functionality, but unfortunately Activision wasn't willing to give a whole lot of details about what exactly those features will be.
We do know that it will include the Gamepad's gyroscope in some way as players will be able to tilt the device to accomplish certain objectives. They'll also be able to drag and drop creatures using the touch screen.
At this time though we don't have further information on what sort of systems the game will employ to differentiate itself from the other versions of Skylanders Giants which are set to launch on October 21, 2012 in North America. The Wii U version will launch alongside the console on November 18.
