So Metal Gear Survive totally reuses MGS 5's map
It looks like Metal Gear Survive is taking place on a mildy modified version of MGS 5's Afghanistan map if this comparison video is anything to go by.
I'm not sure what to make of this, although given the fan backlash post Kojima and Konami splitting it isn't going to go down well. You could argue that the wormhole the Mother Base soldiers in the game have gone through simply took them to an alternate version of Afghanistan - although the base was in the Seychelles, which is a little way out.
YouTuber rensehin made the video, playing alongside the recent Metal Gear Survive gameplay reveal and it's clear, from fences to buildings, it's basically the same map. On the one hand it's a smart reuse of resources, but man, some people are going to be pissed.
