Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner accidentally reveals the fate of Sansa (SPOILERS)
Time and time again, Game of Thrones has made it clear that it's not a good idea to get too attached to certain characters on the show, lest they meet with a brutal, image-burned-into-your-retinas death. In other words, no one is safe...unless, apparently, you're Sansa Stark.
Sophie Turner was at the Oscars last weekend, and while being interviewed by E! News she seemingly confirmed that Sansa Stark survives the upcoming season, saying "I’m flicking through, like, death, death, death, death, death … Okay, I’m good for this season." Check out the clip for yourself below...
Assuming we can take Turner's quote literally, it's good to know that Sansa Stark hasn't yet been marked for death as she is one of the few good-hearted characters left on the show. However, that doesn't necessarily exclude her from other horrible punishments, something which Ramsay Bolton has been known to dish out. We'll find out her fate when the show returns to our TV screens next month.
Season 6 of Game of Thrones premieres on HBO on April 24, 2016 in the US, and airs on Sky Atlantic the next day in the UK.
