Sorry but it doesn't look like Witcher 4 is happening any time soon, or maybe ever
Let's play good news, bad news. It is Friday after all. So here we go. Good news: the Witcher 3's Blood and Wine DLC is out on May 31st. Yaaaay! Bad news: The Witcher 4's not in development and there might not even be one. Yeah. Sorry. When Eurogamer asked whether CD Projekt Red would return to make another Witcher, this was the response from Marcin Iwinski.
"We honestly don't know. We don't have anything planned as of now to be honest on the next Witcher," he said. "As we said before, never say never [but] right now it's really Blood and Wine. This is the end. Blood and Wine is [the] closing and there won't be any Witcher any time soon - if there ever will be one. And I would really like to see how people feel about it, if they will enjoy it."
The 'this is the end' hurts in a way you didn't expect, doesn't it? Well at least we still have Blood & Wine to look forward to.
