Sorry, it doesn't look like Crash Bandicoot is coming back after all (probably)
In music to every nostalgic Crash Bandicoot fan's orange ears, NECA Toy's director Randy Falks revealed to PixelDan at The New York Toy Fair this weekend that the company was working with Sony. He uttered the immortal words "I see they're bringing Crash Bandicoot back, so there's some great stuff there." You can see it in the below video after he talks about the new Uncharted 4, Sackboy and Kratos figures.
Unfortunately, in a statement later given to Gamespot, the company has responded to our N Sanity beach themed celebrations and it's not such good news. Falks was not apparently confirming the return of the spinning marsupial. "It's not the case. Someone has misunderstood a comment he made. Randy saw a faked fan-made image right before he came to the show and said that if the game were coming back, we'd love to do figures." Ah. Well, before you go and cry into your Ripper Roo plush, remember that PlayStation's Middle East Twitter account did post the below image last week. Translated that says 'Most wanted...where are you Crash?'

Time will tell whether whatever Falks saw was fan art or not. I hate to go all Mulder on this but I really want to believe.
