Spider-Man: Homecoming set pic offers close-up look at Spidey's web-shooters

While Sam Raimi opted to give Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man organic webbing, in Captain America: Civil War we learned that the MCU version of Peter Parker had created his own web-shooters and web-fluid. That's very much in keeping with the character's original backstory, and now thanks to Twitter account @AtlantaFilming we have a new Spider-Man: Homecoming set photo that gives us our best look yet at the webhead's signature device.

Spidey looks to be sporting the same upgraded web-shooters he received from Tony Stark in Civil War, and while that film gave us a satisfying glimpse of the wallcrawler in action it's a safe bet that the shooters - and indeed, the suit as a whole - has lots more tricks we haven't yet seen. We'll get a better look at Spidey's full repertoire in less than a year's time...
Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Marisa Tomei, Michael Keaton, Robert Downey Jr, Donald Glover, and Zendaya, Spider-Man: Homecoming will swing into cinemas on July 7, 2017.
