Spider-Man: Homecoming toys show off Spidey’s homemade suit and the Vulture's full costume
Forget set leaks and actors who say more than they should, toy ranges are the best (and most fun) source of movie first-looks these days – and it’s no different here with a look at Spidey’s homemade costume, presumably set to make an appearance in Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Revealed by IGN, Hasbro’s upcoming toy line shows off Spider-Man’s homemade costume (think Tobey Maguire’s wrestling costume in Spider-Man, plus a cool hoodie) as well as a more complete look at Michael Keaton’s Vulture.
Spidey has been decked out in Stark gear for Homecoming but we’ve not really seen much of his super-early crime-fighting days. Could we be expecting a flashback or two?
And what about Vulture’s look? The bird-brained villain may be more “relevant” according to Michael Keaton but I’m pretty sure he wasn’t referring to his wings making a giant vulture face. It’s all a bit silly, comic book-y and 100% brilliant. At least Spider-Man: Homecoming won’t lose its sense of fun.
It’s best not to take the toy line as gospel – I’m pretty sure a Spider-Mobile and shoulder-mounted Spidey Nerf gun won’t make an appearance in the final cut, but, hey, you never know...

Directed by Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Marisa Tomei, and Donald Glover, Spider-Man: Homecoming will hit theaters on July 7, 2017.
