Spider-Man: Homecoming will have multiple post-credits scenes "worth sticking around for" says director

Spider-Man: Homecoming’s post-credits scenes are “definitely worth sticking around for” according to director Jon Watts – who may have also accidentally confirmed the existence of more than one post-credits scene. But surely it won’t top Guardians of the Galaxy 2 and its five post-credits scenes?!

Speaking at Sydney’s Supanova Comic Con (H/T ComicBook.com), Jon Watts – who is helming Spidey’s return to the big screen – apparently had this to say via video message, according to one Twitter user who was at the event.

No official confirmation, but the wording makes it sound like Homecoming will continue the MCU tradition of packing in as many post-credits scenes, stings, and teasers after the movie proper has finished rolling.

MCU post-credits scenes often overshadow the movie that preceded it (think Avengers: Age of Ultron’s Thanos post-credits scene) so I’m going to start the rumour mill rolling right about now. My guess? J. Jonah Jameson will show up, plus a small tease for Avengers: Infinity War.

What do you reckon will be worth keeping those butts in seats post-Spider-Man: Homecoming? Let us know in the comments – and let the speculation commence!
