Spin us a Spider-Man story and win BIG prizes
Go on. Dazzle us with your wordage. You could win a 360 and HDTV
NOTE: This competition is now closed. The winners can be found at the bottom of this page.
To get you in the swing of things for the upcoming release of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows (creeping to consoles and PC on 24 October) we've teamed up with the superhero publishing specialists at Activision and devised a tasty little competition to stimulate your creative mojos. Yes, we want you to do more than just answer a question, but there's an Xbox 360 and 37" Samsung LCD HD Ready TV for the winner, so it's well worth the effort. Anyway, you're going to love it. It's fun. Here's what we want you to do:
1) Look at the Web of Shadows image below. That's right, the one of Spider-Man and Black Cat engaged in an embrace. Go on. Look at it...
2) Write a short Spider-Man story (anywhere between 150 and 1500 words will do) that somehow features that very same Spider-Man and Black Cat embrace somewhere in the storyline. It could be at the start of the story. It could be at the end of the story. It could be a love embrace. It could be a hate embrace. It could be Aunt May in a Black Cat disguise. It's your choice. Be creative.
3) Email us your story here: gamesradar@futurenet.co.uk
4) Wait and see if you've won the 360 and HDTV.
We should make it clear that we're not looking for Booker Prize literary excellence. All standards and styles of writing will be greeted with much rejoicing. All you really need is a good idea and access to a keyboard.

We'll select a winner each week until the competition closes on 31 October, then we'll judge the overall winner - that's the person who gets to make space in their front room for a new 360 and HDTV. The three runners-up will each receive a copy of Spider-Man: Web of Shadows on the platform of their choice. Get writing. Go.
The competition is open to UK residents only. All entrants must be aged 12 or over. The competition closing date is the 31 October. Before you even think about entering you must check the full competition rules, which you can find here. By entering the competition you're stating that you agree to the terms.
