Splinter Cell only for PC and 360?
Part 5 of our Splinter Cell blowout reveals the reason. But is it really for the best?
We wonder what he's got in mind... could the multiplayer aspect be taken to a new level with Splinter Cell Conviction? With the crowd dynamics talked about in earlier interviews, we reckon multiplayer could be a lot of fun. Could you turn a crowd's attention to your mate so he's hampered while you complete an objective?
Ferland explains: "Working with a unique version of the code will definitely ensure consistency between the solo and the multiplayer modes. In Chaos Theory and Double Agent (Xbox/PS2), we've been able to develop the multiplayer and co-operative campaign and the solo campaign over the same version of code and the controls were quite similar.
"We want to reproduce this development philosophy in SC Conviction because we want the player to use the skills he developed in the solo mode and directly use them in multiplayer modes."
