Sponsored: Hitman Sniper Challenge Grand Prize announced! And it's a very special one-off prize for a Hitman fan...
Like Hitman? You'll love this
Square-Enix has officially unveiled the Grand Prize in the Hitman Sniper Challenge competition. As if iPads, Sennheiser Headphones, Agent 47 figurines and DLC weren't enough! Well, apparently they aren't, so this is what's on offer for the ultimate assassin.
The person crowned The UK’s Ultimate Assassin will be immortalised in a future Hitman game and also presented with a Golden Joystick at Future Publishing’s annual Golden Joystick Awards on 26th October 2012.
That's right, you could have your face scanned into a future game in the Hitman series! Imagine boasting about that to your friends. It's not clear yet exactly which character the winner will become, but it's a first first for the franchise and undoubtedly something any true Hitman fan would love to get involved with.

With Agent 47s around the globe having racked up over 35 million kills playing Hitman Sniper Challenge, the competition to find the top UK sniper is now live with gamers competing for daily, weekly and monthly prizes. All Monthly winners will have the chance to battle it out in a Grand Final and be crowned the UK’s Ultimate Assassin.
“Hitman: Sniper Challenge has been an extremely successful pre-order incentive for us,” said Jon Brooke, Brand Director of the Hitman Franchise. “We’re really excited to be able to offer one fan a once in a lifetime prize and The Golden Joysticks is the perfect partner to showcase the Ultimate Assassin’s achievement.”
Now in its 30th year, the Golden Joystick Awards are the only gaming awards that are voted by the people that matter most, the gamers themselves. With over two million votes cast last year, the shortlist will once again be the focus of gamers’ conversations throughout the summer.

"It's an honour to partner with such a hotly anticipated title as HITMAN: ABSOLUTION and provide the platform for this amazing prize. The awards are usually presented to publishers and developers only, so it's exciting to be able to celebrate the talents of a sharp-shooting gamer too," said James Kick, Associate Publisher, The Golden Joystick Awards.
Not too shabby, eh? Square-Enix have provided their own terms and conditions for the grand prize, which you can read on page two of this article. By entering, you are agreeing to them.
