Sponsored: Tesco offers special Black Ops 2 event for midnight launch

Black Ops 2, the sequel to 2010's epic special forces shooter, is just four days away now and Tesco is organising a series of special events to celebrate the launch of what many expect to be the biggest game release of this year.

Black Ops 2 fans dropping into Tesco's flagship Extra store at Cheshunt on the evening of Monday November 12th will be able to get a sneak preview of the full game up to two hours before the official midnight launch and take part in a competition with a host of top prizes up for grabs. Gamers dropping into any of Tesco's other top one hundred stores will also be able to win special goodies bags in a nationwide festival of all things Black Ops 2.

Tesco has teamed up with live gaming events company Game Beast, the ultimate mobile gaming experience, who'll be bringing down one of their special converted monster truck gaming rigs to the event, featuring 43" plasma screens, thudding sound systems and gaming chairs to provide the ultimate Black Ops 2 arena.

From 10pm onwards, while they wait for the midnight opening and a chance to pick up a copy of the game, teams of up four players will be able to clamber on board the Game Beast rig and compete in Black Ops 2 Zombie Survival mode, attempting to outlast wave after wave of incoming zombie attacks in one of Black Ops 2's most eagerly anticipated and visceral gaming encounters.

Survive up to ten rounds of zombie terror and the players who post the best score just before the witching hour, will each receive not only a copy of Black Ops 2 each, but a highly sought after Turtle Beach Sierra Headset to complete their Black Ops 2 gaming experience.

Tesco has also promised to keep things interesting for all those standing in line, with a host of goodie bags, spot prizes, t-shirts and giveaways for the truly dedicated fans who want to grab the game at midnight and still be playing when the sun comes up.

To get there set your smartphone or sat nav to: Tesco Extra Cheshunt: Brookfield Gardens, Waltham Cross, Cheshunt, Hertfordshire EN8 0TA and get there early on the evening of November 12th.
