Outcast: A New Beginning
March 15
Maybe you didn't play the original Outcast in 1999. No matter! This sci-fi romp on an alien open world has a second chance to make a first impression on you. Traversing the planet of Adelpha in your jet pack is a blast, and your weapon is uniquely customizable in dozens of ways to suit your play style. Fight alongside the Talans to help free their villages, learn more about their culture, and level up with ancient powers. No matter how you approach this nonlinear adventure, the hyper-saturated and clever world will keep you jet-packing around and destroying robots.
Alone in the Dark
March 20
One of the first survival horror franchises comes creeping out of the shadows, bringing with it A-List talent including Jodi Comer (Killing Eve), David Harbour (Stranger Things), and Mikael Hedberg, who wrote gaming horror hits Soma and the Amnesia series. This reimagining of the original game is set in the 1920s American South and tasks you with exploring the sprawling Derceto Manor. With a moody score and surreal monster design, Alone in the Dark might have you reaching for a light switch.
Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition
March 21
One of the best open-world games on consoles is finally coming to PC in its totality. This version of the game comes with all the bonus content, including additional outfits for Aloy, in-game resource packs, and the Burning Shores expansion. In addition, the PC version includes a litany of graphical upgrades such as unlocked frame rates and ultra-wide support to spread your journey over multiple screens.
Dragon's Dogma 2
March 22
The follow-up to 2012's cult hit is here, and it's ready to take you on a deep dive into an open fantasy world full of monsters to slay in pitched combat. You might find yourself puppeteering your pawns across the battlefield as a Trickster or in the scrum, underfoot against towering Golems. If you're looking for a new fantasy fix, Dragon's Dogma 2 might be your answer.
Millennia
March 26
A 4X game is reliant on having deep systems that you can lose yourself in for hours. Millennia puts you in the familiar position of raising a nation from the first few settlers, navigating ravaging barbarian hordes, and discovering stunning landmarks. But this game sets itself apart with ages that completely change how you play, adding obstacles and bonuses such as rogue AI, alien visitors, or utopian harmony. With sprawling regions that feel similar to real-life cities and a startlingly deep economy, Millennia will have you staying up until 3 a.m. playing one… more… turn.
Manor Lords
April 26
One of the most anticipated city builders in years, Manor Lords charges you with building, maintaining, and defending medieval cities. The attention to historical detail is impressive, with fields being plowed by oxen and weather impacting food supplies. In addition, this game includes large-scale tactical battles. You're not much of a manor lord if you can't protect your own manor, right? What's even more impressive, though, is the dev team. Manor Lords is being created almost entirely by a solo developer.
