SSX 4 movie inside

EA has finally announced the next game in its popular SSX series, confirming it will be released before the end of the year.

Along with first details of the game comes this movie, which shows one of the new skiing characters in full-on somersaulting uber-tricking action, in a manner only SSX characters truly can.

Yes, we said skiing.

New for SSX 4 is the addition of characters on skis to complement the returning boarders we all love so much.

We know what you're thinking, but it will be fine. Download the movie right now and see for yourself how smooth and well animated this character is, not to mention how crazy his stunts look. This is no Johnny Moseley Mad Trix. This is SSX and it will be awesome.

We're big fans of SSX here in the gamesradar.com office and as such we're expecting big things from this next instalment. In particular an extensive career mode, all-new graphics engine and ultra violent in-race combat between skiers and boarders who are well known for their hatred of each other in real life.

SSX 4 is due for release on PS2 and Xbox before the end of the year
