Star Wars Battlefront 2's release date is officially set for November 17, 2017
The Star Wars Battlefront 2 release date is finally official: EA plans to release the game worldwide on November 17, 2017. That gives you just under a month to play the game before heading to the theaters for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. You can actually start playing the game three days early if you pre-order it, and you can count on the usual Play First trials for EA Access and Origin Access members.
The single-player campaign bridges the events after Star Wars: Return of the Jedi and before Star Wars: The Force Awakens in a brand new story. It's also a first chance to see these events from the perspective of an Imperial soldier.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
