The Star Wars Battlefront beta is open to everyone and you can play offline
Well it really is the week that keeps on giving when it comes to the Force. First a Star Wars Battlefront edition that comes with a Han Solo in Carbonite fridge and now the news of offline and online modes for the beta next month. While we still don't have set dates for theStar Wars Battlefront beta, the latest community update has confirmed that it will be open to everyone, not just a lucky few.
"The beta will consist of both our offline and online modes including co-op and split-screen co-op, and it will take place on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and via Origin for PC, so we have you covered regardless of your next generation platform of choice," explains the post. While we'll get to experience the new Drop Zone mode on Sullust , the Survival mode on Tatooine will allow two players to play split screen co-op together for some nice couch time.
The post also answers some big community questions about the main game. There will be 10 AI bots on each side in addition to players in Fighter Squadron mode and the Deluxe Edition of the game will come with exclusive Ion Shock and Victory emotes as well as the Ion Grenade, Ion Torpedo, and DL-44. Eyes peeled for a beta release date soon.
