Star Wars Battlefront's Rogue One DLC is out now and so is the free PSVR X-Wing mission
If you have the Star Wars Battlefront Season Pass, you can deploy to Scarif right now. The Rogue One: Scarif expansion pack is the fourth and final paid expansion for the multiplayer shooter, and it adds a new mode, maps, heroes, and customizable power-up Star Cards inspired by the upcoming Star Wars: Rogue One. Non-season pass owners can pick it up in two weeks.
Scarif's new mode, Infiltration, is another multi-stage operation like the Death Star expansion's Battle Station mode. Rebels and Imperials clash in ship-to-ship combat above Scarif (featuring the new U-Wing fighter/transport) and eventually make their way down to the climactic beach assault that you've probably seen in all those Star Wars: Rogue One trailers. Players can enter the fray as convict-turned-commando Jyn Erso on the Rebel side or as Death Star project security director Orson Krennic on the Imperial side.
The Star Wars Battlefront Rogue One: X-Wing Mission is also available now for everybody who owns the main game on PS4. You will need a PlayStation VR headset to play, though - there's no handy non-VR mode for folks who just want more X-wing piloting action.

I got a BA in journalism from Central Michigan University - though the best education I received there was from CM Life, its student-run newspaper. Long before that, I started pursuing my degree in video games by bugging my older brother to let me play Zelda on the Super Nintendo. I've previously been a news intern for GameSpot, a news writer for CVG, and now I'm a staff writer here at GamesRadar.
