Original story: Next week, Disney will host a series of 'Force Friday' livestream events, where Internet celebrities will unbox and reveal new Star Wars merch including toys from the upcoming Episode 7: The Force Awakens. The event will begin at 7:45 AM local time in Sydney, Australia on September 3, and bounce across 12 countries over the following 18 hours, giving everyone plenty of time to catch up on a galaxy far, far away.

Eagle-eyed readers may notice that September 3 is a Thursday. So why call it "Force Friday"? Because once the unboxing videos have run their course, Disney Stores across the world will open their doors at midnight so that fans can purchase the freshly-revealed merch (and get a special pin if you're one of the first 100 through the doors).

You can check out the full livestream schedule on the Star Wars website, and keep an eye on this page for when we update it with the new gizmos, gadgets and toys sure to come.
