Star Wars: The Last Jedi could be making a return trip to these three iconic planets
What is Star Wars without its planets? From the icy climes of Hoth to the serene vistas of Scarif, the locations in a galaxy far, far away sometimes overshadow the people inhabiting them. Annoyingly, though, Star Wars hasn’t booked a return trip to many of its classic planets over the years but, if a rumour rings true, we could see three classic planets show up in Star Wars: The Last Jedi or Episode 9.
According to MakingStarWars.net, a source has hinted that the three planets that will be returning are Tatooine, Endor (technically a moon, but whatevs) and lava planet Mustafar.
Mustafar, of Anakin-burning fame, is perhaps the most interesting of the bunch as it’ll reportedly directly tie the new trilogy to Star Wars: Rogue One because Darth Vader’s Bowser-esque castle may make an appearance.
Tatooine is a place dear to Luke Skywalker’s heart so don’t be surprised to see him rock up on the dusty planet at some point over the next two movies.
Ah, Endor, home of the Ewoks. There’s a chance those cuddly, slingshot wielding mini fuzzballs may yet show up. God help us all.
Are there any other iconic Star Wars locations you’d like to see Rey, Finn, Poe and the rest visit? Dagobah, perhaps? Or would some like it Hoth? Let us know in the comments!
