Star Wars: The Last Jedi: Is Finn paralyzed? Josh Gad asks Daisy Ridley the big questions
Josh Gad continues to fight the good fight on behalf of Star Wars fans and is once again attempting to get Daisy Ridley to answer questions about Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
Had follow-up w/ Daisy Ridley on set today to apologize for #StarWars #TheLastJedi sneak attack last week. Suffice it to say didn't go well pic.twitter.com/keVz0xgqLQFebruary 1, 2017
Last week, Gad approached his Murder on the Orient Express co-star Ridley and performed what he calls a “sneak attack” on her, trying to squeeze any information about the movie from her with a direct line of questioning. This time, he’s taking a more indirect route, introducing a little subterfuge into the mix and humorously framing his questions as if they’re a part of the movie the two of them are both currently working on.
It’s pretty clear to me that Ridley is in on the joke (watch her almost crack up at the :31 second mark), but it’s still funny to watch them go through the motions, and I’ve gotta give it up to Gad for playing it completely straight the whole time. This is some of the best acting of his career thus far.
Directed by Rian Johnson and starring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Laura Dern, Mark Hamill, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, and Benicio del Toro, Star Wars: The Last Jedi opens in theaters on December 15, 2017.
