Stephanie Sigman joins SPECTRE
SPECTRE has added another Bond girl to its ranks, with Mexican actress Stephanie Sigman the latest name to join the cast.
Sigman is set to play a character known as Estrella, although no further details have been confirmed at this stage. However, a working knowledge of the franchise would suggest she’ll either sleep with Bond, get herself killed, or both.
The star is best known for her work on TV shows Narcos and The Bridge, as well as 2011 film Miss Bala, and will hopefully get a chance to show off what she can do before ending up in a tank full of piranhas.
Plot details have remained shrouded in secrecy, although the film is expected to reintroduce the famous antagonist Ernst Stavro Blofeld, with speculation rife that he and Christoph Waltz’s character Oberhauser are one and the same…
Directed by Sam Mendes and co-starring Daniel Craig, Monica Belluci, Léa Seydoux and Dave Bautista, SPECTRE will open in the UK on 23 October 2015 and the US on 6 November 2015.
