Stephen Moffat writing Tintin
For Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson…
Anyone who’s been watching the revitalised Doctor Who or Jekyll – and we know that a lot of you have – knows that the best thing about either show is writer Stephen Moffat.
It looks like Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson have noticed that too – they’ve signed him up to write the trilogy of movies that the pair are producing and directing.
We’re not sure yet which of original creator Herge’s stories will be adapted for the films, but it will follow the young reporter’s adventures accompanied by faithful hound Snowy. Spielberg and Jackson are planning to use performance-capture technology and shoot in digital 3D.
With such talent behind the camera, all we’re worried about now is who’s directing the third film. Someone find Jon Turteltaub and put him in a big hole, please?
