Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi star in first images from The Incredible Burt Wonderstone
It's a kind of magic
The first images have arrived from Steve Carell's forthcoming comedy, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone , featuring Carell and Steve Buscemi as a pair of ludicrously camp Vegas magicians.
One of the two stills is of a relatively sober (save for a couple of dodgy haircuts) barroom scene, but the real money shot is the one of Carell and Buscemi getting their Siegfried and Roy on. Marvellous stuff!
The film follows the two magicians as they dominate the Las Vegas strip, raking in wads of cash as Carell's ego grows to monstrous proportions. However, all is not well between our heroes, who secretly can't stand the sight of each other.
Then there's also the arrival of a new star on the block, a guerilla street magician played by Jim Carrey, who begins to steal the duo's precious limelight, without the use of sequins or cans and cans of hairspray.
Directed by Don Scardino and co-starring James Gandolfini, Alan Arkin and Olivia Wilde, The Incredible Burt Wonderstone will open in the UK on 15 March 2013.
