Sunset Overdrive is the latest Xbox exclusive to invade Rocket League
A late port isn't always a guaranteed success, which might explain why Psyonix is doing its level best to court the Xbox One audience before Rocket League finally hits their console in February. The soccer-with-cars sensation had already revealed Halo and Gears of War-themed exclusive items, and now a hipster apocalypse is on its way.
Announced on the Insomniac blog, Sunset Overdrive is coming to Rocket League in the form of an Overcharge boost (which makes the sound of the Captain Ahab weapon firing, audio fans), and a Fizzie car topper. Here it is, look:
Appropriately, since a chunk of Sunset Overdrive's story is about not being able to get cars working, there doesn't appear to be a themed vehicle. What Xbox franchise could we see next in Rocket League? I'm hoping for an antenna with that Kinect child, Milo's head on the top, shouting that you're a mug because you're not scoring enough goals.
