Supernatural Season 8: Proof Therell Be One?
New showrunner announced… which they wouldn’t do unless there was a show to run, surely?
While there’s been no official announcement that Supernatural will be recommissioned for an eighth season (though Jared Padalecki has been hinting heavily) this latest piece of news would seem to settle the issue.
Entertainment Weekly reports that, “The CW and Warner Bros are changing showrunners on Supernatural. The veteran Friday night drama series is losing current chief writer-producer Sera Gamble. Instead, Jeremy Carver is coming back to take the reins. Carver worked on the show for three previous seasons between 2007 and 2010. He also ran up Syfy’s Being Human , which was recently renewed.”
Which then makes us wonder if there’ll be some creative new blood on the US Being Human as well, or whether Carver’s wife, Anna Fricke, will continue as head writer on that show without him.
