Survivors take aim in first stills from The Walking Dead S6
A trio of new stills from the next season of The Walking Dead show three of Rick Grimes' survivors doing what they do best: taking aim. Yes, the zombie smash hit may be coming up on its sixth season but some things never change. The undead need killin' and strangers need guns waggled in their faces to scare them.
Glenn (Steven Yeun) and Maggie (Lauren Cohan) wield a couple of firearms and appear to be firing them directly at something... or someone. Either option is just as terrifying as the other. As per, Daryl (Norman Reedus) looks cool as a cucumber with his trusty crossbow casually resting on his shoulder.
Until the first trailer drops for the upcoming season, we won't know who Rick's intrepid gang could be up against. Last time we saw the group, *SPOILER ALERT* Rick had just killed Pete right as Morgan arrived in Alexandria. Leaving plenty of guilt-rich thematic terrain for Sheriff Grimes to traverse, as he tends to do.
And that ought to intersect nicely with the arrival of some new villains. If the show turns to the comics for inspiration, the gang are about to face someone far, FAR worse than The Governor.
