Take A Trip Into Space Ahead Of Interstellar

Embark on your very own mission to the stars with Interstellar

Next week, Dark Knight director Christopher Nolan's blockbuster mission to the stars, Interstellar , blasts into UK cinemas. To celebrate the movie's release, Warner Bros. Pictures have teamed up with the Slooh Community Space Observatory to host an out of this world online event that is free to watch through sfx.co.uk.

At 7pm (UK time) on Sunday 2 November, you're invited to join Slooh for an amazing two-hour journey into space using your computer, tablet or smartphone. You'll be able to view incredible live online feeds from the powerful Slooh space camera based at the Institute of Astrophysics in the Canary Islands. This is a chance to see deep space and explore the wonders of the universe in a one-off broadcast featuring an array of guests including astronomers, science writers and surprise NASA guests. You can also use Twitter (and the hashtag #interstellarspaceevent ) to ask the broadcasters questions and even determine where the space cameras explore.

To be part of this out-of-this-world event, visit www.interstellarspaceevent.com and use the access code SFXSPACE . You'll also have the chance to claim an exclusive film poster and solar system chart during the live event – details of how to apply can be found at the Interstellar Space Event site.

You'll also be able to watch the event right here on Sunday:
